One-Repetition MaximumStrength & Power

The most weight you can lift once with good form.

The One-Repetition Maximum is the greatest load a person can lift for a single complete repetition of an exercise. It is the reference point for prescribing strength-training intensity (loads are often set as a percentage of 1RM) and for tracking strength change. It can be measured directly or estimated from higher-repetition sets.
