Countermovement JumpMeasurement & Testing

A standard vertical jump test of lower-body power and readiness.

The Countermovement Jump is a vertical jump that begins with a quick downward dip before jumping up, performed on a force plate or jump mat. It is a widely used test of lower-body explosive power and, tracked over time, of neuromuscular fatigue and readiness. Metrics such as jump height, peak power and asymmetry are commonly reported.
