The most oxygen your body can use during hard exercise.

Maximal Oxygen Uptake is the highest rate at which the body can take in and use oxygen during intense exercise, usually expressed in millilitres per kilogram per minute. It is a key marker of aerobic fitness and a strong predictor of endurance performance. It is measured in a graded exercise test to exhaustion.
